History

The Film Theatre Academy is an International Vocational Training School. The Academy aims to train artists who will become part of the organization’s different projects: films, shorts, shows, events, formats etc…

The lessons are grouped into various categories Techniques (Acting, Diction, Acting Coach, Direction, Shooting, Editing, Costume Design, Special Effect, Screenplay, Make-up) and are entrusted to recognized professionals who are divided between the commitments on the Italian and American Sets and teaching in the main National Academies.

The best directors and the greatest actors agree that the best way to learn how to make Cinema, TV, Theatre is to actively participate in the realization of professional works led by experienced teachers and established professionals.

The Film Theatre Academy has opened registration for “Singing Courses” and “Acting Courses with practice on set”. The courses are aimed at actors, actresses, singers, directors, screenwriters (aspiring or professionals) who want to follow a specialized path dedicated to acting or singing.

All participants will have the opportunity to follow a first part of theoretical and practical training and to put into practice the techniques learned by participating as actors/ actresses in a professional short film with the well-known artists of Cinema, Theater and TV.

Finally, you can experience the emotions of a real set, touch the problems and obstacles that actors, directors, screenwriters and the crew face during the shooting.

You will experience the emotion of seeing a scene, a dialogue, a frame become part of a film.

MASTER CLASSES & EVENTS
The Academy is known, in addition to courses, for the periodic master classes of cinema, TV and theater organized in recent months with: Bernard Hiller, Michele Placido, Tyler Mane, Renae Geerlings, Shlomo Blanga, Francesco Pannofino, Edoardo Leo, Fioretta Mari, Giancarlo Giannini, Dario Argento, Maurizio Mattioli, Maurizio Casagrande, Luca Miniero, Michele Placido, Sergio Solli, Isa Danieli, Aurora Ruffino, Andrea Roncato.

The most serious and deserving students (therefore not only talented ones) will be able to take part in the various projects of the organization: Academic Films, Short Films, Musicals, Musical Productions, Theater Performances, Social Events, Format.

SERVICES

COURSES
They take place online or on site and are aimed at adults and teenagers (divided by age). The Academy offers courses of: Film Acting with American Techniques (theory and practice) – Singing (Lyric and Modern) – theater – makeup.

TRAINING MEETINGS
The Film Theatre Academy is an international art center, often the location of important educational meetings, held by famous entertainers. It proposes Master Class of cinema, theater, song, music, direction, screenplay, stage make-up and all that is considered relevant to the artistic field.

COURTS & PRODUCTIONS
“Learning by doing” (Learning by doing) and “The best way to learn how to make a film is to make one” (Stanley Kubrick) are Hollywood mottos and ours too.
The Film Theatre Academy produces with students (in the form of essays and academic works) audio & video works, which the same students can use as artistic material to compete in international festivals, to show to productions or upload to the web to advertise for auditions and casting.

ESSAYS
During the Christmas period, the Academy organizes free shows in which all students can perform. Instead, at the end of each academic year, the Film Theatre Academy offers its students the chance to perform at the year-end essay. This event takes place at important theaters, where students can approach the public and test their skills with serenity, professionalism and fun.

Each participant who will perform during the show will be awarded an academic certificate, valid as credit at any educational institution, as the Academy is affiliated to the C.O.N.I.
